Centre for Food Policy Annual Report
PRESENTING VOICES IN RESEARCH
Outline
Hosting some of the most respected academics in the food systems world, the Centre for Food Policy, based at City, University of London, is a key player in shaping global food systems. Researchers from around the world are found working alongside academic staff who deliver teaching to the next generation of food system change-makers and activists on the Food Policy MSc course.
Focussing on people, celebrating wins and educating future partners about their work was at the core of the Centre’s brief for their annual report, when they sought help with design and content. The finished product needed to create a frame of reference for funders, future students and those who wanted to find out more about the Centre’s work.
Project concerns were creating a brighter, lighter feel to the design of the 45 page report, whilst embracing themes that are often found in the food system, such as circularity and complexity. Moving away from the previous designs used by the Centre, we adapted all of the tenets of the existing university brand guidelines to create a fresh look which still met the brand criteria.
Results
The final report has been well received and served as a vital marketing asset for the department. Download the full report here.
